Santa Maria Man Arrested for Multiple Robberies

Suspects name: Cuevas, Darrik Paul 10-31-86

Over the weekend of December 23-25, 2017, SMPD Officers responded to multiple reports of robberies that occurred at local businesses. Officers and investigators were able to identify a suspect from evidence at the various scenes. On the evening of December 28, 2017, SMPD Officers with the Street Enforcement Team (SET) and the Detective Bureau located the suspect, Darrik Paul Cuevas, at a residence in the City of Santa Maria. He was arrested without incident. Further evidence connecting him to the robberies was located. Cuevas was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on three counts of 211 PC (Robbery).

Following his appearance in court, the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Cuevas for 211 PC.

Due to investigative reasons this information has not been released to the public until this time.
