On Sunday, March 13, 2022 just after 9:00 PM, Officers were sent to a business on the 1900 block of South Broadway. Dispatch received reports of a shooting with a victim down in the parking lot.
Officers arrived on scene and located a male adult who sustained fatal injuries. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Santa Maria Police Detectives along with the Crime Lab responded and are investigating the incident. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crime or have information to contact them at (805) 928-3781 X2277.
