Santa Maria Home Damaged in Early Morning Fire

Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to a structure fire in Santa Maria early Monday morning.

At 4:08 a.m., fire crews and an ambulance arrived in the 1400 block of Bathurst Drive. They discovered smoke coming out of the front of the residence. Upon making entry there was a small fire discovered in the living room.

Fire crews made an aggressive attack and quickly knocked down the fire. 

There were no injuries and the fire is under investigation.
