On 03/21/2026 at 1146 PM, The Gang Suppression Team was conducting proactive patrol in the area of 1000 N. Railroad at Atkinson Park when they made contact with several known gang members.
During the investigation, officers located a shotgun inside the vehicle.
The suspects were taken into custody without incident.
The department reminds all firearm owners to ensure their weapons are properly secured at all times to prevent access by unauthorized individuals.
