On Friday afternoon, firefighters from the Santa Maria Fire Department responded to a structure fire at an apartment complex on the 200 block of East Bunny Avenue.
Crews from Engines 3, 5, 4, 2, Truck 1, and Battalion Chief 2 arrived at the scene alongside personnel from the Santa Maria Police Department (SMPD) and American Medical Response (AMR).
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. Firefighters quickly worked to contain the blaze, preventing further damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and authorities have not released additional details at this time.
