The Santa Barbara Sky FC has a message for the county residents. The club has unveiled a new project to showcase the community tales through residents’ lenses.
The project, All One Under The Sky, will document life across areas such as Santa Barbara, Camarillo, Goleta, Carpinteria, Oxnard, Ventura, Santa Maria, Orcutt, San Luis Obispo, Lompoc, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Ojai, Paso Robles, Santa Paula, and Atascadero, among others. These areas have an area code 805, the Santa Barbara Sky FC announced in an X post.
We started the #AllOneUnderTheSky project to document life across the 805 through your eyes.

The project has two themes. The first theme—capturing the sky at sunrise or sunset—saw creators participating across the region. It embodied the team’s motto, “We may hail from different places, but we’re all one under the Sky.”
The team is now launching its second theme, “Soccer in your community.” It has invited participants to capture images of soccer matches at the park or high school, friends training, or local businesses that support the game.
Last year, the Santa Barbara Sky FC officially announced its entry into the USL Championship for the 2026 season.
In anticipation of its 2026 debut, Santa Barbara Sky FC aims to become a hallmark of California’s soccer scene, nurturing local talent and providing high-caliber entertainment to fans.
The Sky will join fellow California-based organizations Monterey Bay FC, Oakland Roots SC, Orange County SC, and Sacramento Republic FC.
The United Soccer League, founded in 1986, is a well-established and fast-growing entity in the U.S. soccer community, providing a clear pathway from youth to professional levels in its organized structure. With its games accessible across multiple media platforms, including CBS Sports, ESPN, and Peacock, the USL ensures wide-reaching visibility for its teams, including the soon-to-debut Santa Barbara Sky FC.
Fans across California’s Central Coast can expect elevated soccer action as Santa Barbara Sky FC prepares to debut in the USL Championship.
