Santa Barbara Pony Baseball Bounces Back After Theft

By an edhat subscriber

Santa Barbara Pony Baseball players, coaches, and parents are the best of the best! A dedicated group of families won’t let anything or anyone hold them back. In the middle of Championship Games and heading into the All-Star post-season, thieves made off with pitchers mound covers, dugout tarps, a bullpen, Astro-turf, and other needed equipment from their home at MacKenzie Park!

It was a devastating loss for the league and for the players, but it did not slow the boys down one bit! They took it in stride and continued playing at the championship level that they are known for. These courageous, fiery, young boys are passionate about their sport, their coaches, and their friends; onward and upward!

Recently the 8U All-Stars took home the District Championship by beating Simi Youth, 13-2! This past weekend (June 17 -18) our 10U All-Stars 10U took home their 3rd Gold Championship Medal in as many weeks!
