I get my nails done at a salon on State near Macy's and this type of theft would be so easy to accomplish. There are at least 20 employees with at least 20 patrons during busy hours and people are at the tables, chairs, massage room, bathroom and in and out the back door all the time. It would be easy to blend in and sneak out without really being noticed all the way to the street or busy sidewalk to disappear. It looks like a good photo though. I hope they get caught.

They will be able to soon! New legislation has outlawed unidentifiable temporary plates - now, temporary plates will be printed at the dealership and have a large alphanumeric code on them and expiration date (90 days), similar to an actual license plate. Makes SO much more sense than the current system!!
