On February 4, 2026, at approximately 12:20 p.m., public safety personnel, including police, fire, and paramedics, were dispatched to the area of 400 W. Islay St.
The call was in response to a male subject who had collapsed on the sidewalk.
Upon arrival, a 67-year-old male was found on the ground. The male was unresponsive and did not have a pulse.
Public safety personnel immediately began life-saving measures. Tragically, the male could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At the time of this investigation, there are no indications of foul play. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
