The Santa Barbara Police Department is introducing a new four-legged member of its team. Cota is the department’s new Support Canine.
“Her role is simple but powerful—she helps bring comfort, connection, and calm to our team and community,” the department stated.
Cota’s goal is to help reduce stress in the workplace, offer a friendly pay at community events, and simply brighten people’s day.
This lovable pup is here to support the team members that serve the people of Santa Barbara.
The Santa Barbara Police Department thanks One805 for sponsoring Cota and supporting the department.

Perhaps now that they have a support dog they can actually get out and do some much needed traffic enforcement, and start issuing tickets for people smoking pot in our parks.
What a sweet smile! Much love to Cota, the best SBPD has to offer.
