On November 13, 2025, Detectives with the Santa Barbara Police Department were following up on an investigation related to internet crimes. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Spencer Selbert, a Santa Barbara resident.
Earlier this morning, Selbert was observed outside his Santa Barbara home and was taken into custody by Detectives without incident. After his arrest, it was determined Selbert was in possession of a control substance and possessed a quantity consistent with intent for sale and distribution.
Concluding the arrest, Selbert was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail for Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Possession of Methamphetamine for Sales, and a local misdemeanor warrant. A bail enhancement was granted for $250,000.
