Santa Barbara Foresters at the World Series

Sters Vs Oaks

The Santa Barbara Foresters’ lost their hopes of winning back to back World Series Championships on Friday, taking a 6-3 loss against the Everett Merchants. Although they fell short, it was a very close and competitive game, and they still had a very successful season. They were able to capture the CCL Title, and finished the year with 34 wins and only 13 losses.

This was their first season in the lovely, brand new Pershing Park, where they will compete for many years to come. See you all back at the Persh next summer, with the Foresters looking to capture their seventh NBC World Series Championship!

The Santa Barbara Foresters supports Hugs for Cubs, an ongoing “buddy” program for children battling cancer.
