A fire that erupted in a residential building at the intersection of Carpinteria and La Cadena Streets on Wednesday afternoon was quickly brought under control by the Santa Barbara Fire Department (SBFD), officials reported.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire, preventing any spread to adjacent structures.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found that all occupants of the involved residence had already evacuated safely, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
