I took the 10 minutes to fill it out, and when I submitted it "SurveyMonkey" responded ""Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site." So that was a waste of time. Poorly designed survey, I cringe to think how many tax dollars went into it.

The one economic development plan for a win-win: Nothing wrong with this area becoming better known as an enclave for the wealthy retired or people of independent means. That is an economic engine too. Double green - sufficient tax generation and low environmental impact - no supporting industries needed, no commuting and no need for tax dollar funded schools. All creating less reliance on fossil fuels. Plus the benefit of more housing turn-over creating vacancies due to finite lengths of the mortal coil. Health care system already in place, supporting hospitality and entertainment infrastructure already more than adequate. ADU regulations now bring back domestic service housing, tied to specific needs. Low environmental impact and high tax revenue generation - what's not to like?

Another badly written and inappropriate survey almost certainly the result of spending silly money on a "consultant." The first thing to note is that the questions are directed at employers by and large. People who are retired or work on their own or are stay at home people are allowed to answer the questions which means the answers are distorted. There should be a screening question to determine which category of respondent you are in. So the results of this effort should not be relied on for any policy decisions.
