Does anyone know why a San Francisco Bay Ferry boat was in the Santa Barbara Harbor on Saturday?

Some research it looks like that is the Vllejo, and it is a retirement date of 2018. My guess is maybe someone here is buying it? Or gassing up on it’s trek further sourth. Chart says it’s replacement is a new 34 knot high speed vessel.
