RV Fire Threatening Structures in Santa Maria

Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to an RV fire threatening structures in Santa Maria on Friday afternoon.

At 4:04 p.m., crews arrived for a reported vegetation fire in the 5000 block of Dominion Road near Sisquoc. They discovered a large RV trailer on fire near a building.

Crews worked to keep the fire from spreading and were assisted by the Santa Maria Fire Department.

The fire spread to the structure but was knocked down. Crews remained on the scene for two hours mopping up. There were no injuries.

The cause is under investigation.
