A two vehicle collision on Highway 154 has caused major traffic delays Friday morning, December 12, 2025.
At 9:07 a.m., California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported a black SUV had rolled over and landed upside down on another vehicle.
The crash took place on Highway 154 near San Marcos Road, just west of the construction zone. There is reportedly at least one minor injury.
CHP states that all lanes are blocked and advises motorists to use Highway 101 until the roadway is clear.
805 Roadside Towing responded to the scene and required assistance to get up the highway due to traffic blocking both lanes, according to CHP.
At 10:05 a.m., CHP stated only northbound lanes were moving and a caller has been waiting for over an hour in the southbound lanes and is “pretty upset.”
“Please use US-101 as an alternate route. Drive safely and expect delays in the area,” CHP states.
This is a developing story.
