Rollover Traffic Accident on Highway 101

Almost all other SUV s have a less than 25% rollover risk while Jeeps start at 27.9% and hold 3 out of five of the worst. Toyota sneaked in at #4 with the 4 Runner, with the worst Jeep ( Wrangler 4 door ) at #2 while Nissan claimed #1 worst with their NV 3500 which although it looks like large van is considered a SUV. Sources 2016 and 2017 Motorbisquit and NHTSA which are in agreement with findings.....the culprit here, a Honda Element would have ranked right in with the worst had it not been out of production too long for the more recent testing.

Rollover Traffic Accident on Highway 101

LUVADUCK—It wasn't a Jeep, it was a Honda Element. It would seem that any vehicle with a high center of gravity (talkin' about you, SUVs), would be more prone to a rollover accident. I once came upon the scene in Minden, Nevada, of a low-speed accident involving a Ford Explorer that jumped a traffic light and was clipped by a late-model VW Beetle. The Explorer flipped onto it's side and the VW had probably less than $100 worth of damage. The problem is compounded because so many SUV owners think they're invincible because they're in a heavy, tank-like vehicle, so they drive accordingly. Very bad mistake, as they seemingly flip over if you even look at them sideways.

That Bath street exit & entrance, can be tricky. Especially, if there's lot's fast traffic around. I was not on the freeway, but near that area, and saw 3 Fire Engines , and one Ambulance. AND, the traffic was backed-up.... I tried parking near the area, but couldn't get a good view of the scene.
