A resurfacing of State Route 135 from south of the Separation with US Highway 101 to just north of Den Street will begin on Friday, May 18. This roadwork will also include upgrades to curb ramps so they are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Motorists will encounter one-way reversing traffic control on State Route 135 Monday through Thursday from 8 am until 4 pm and on Fridays from 8 am until 2 pm.
Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 10 minutes during this project to improve the roadway.
The contractor for this $919,000 project is Granite Construction of Santa Barbara, CA. This project is expected to be completed this August.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
