Resurfacing of Highway 101 On and Off Ramps

A resurfacing of the on/off ramps near the Solomon Summit Undercrossing, south of US 101 at Clark Avenue will begin on Monday, March 2.

Motorists will encounter a closure of the No. 2 (right) lane in both directions of US 101 Monday through Friday during the overnight hours from 7 pm until 6 am.  The speed limit in this construction zone will be 55 mph.

The southbound US 101 on/off ramps at the Solomon Summit Overcrossing will be closed 24/7 from Monday, March 9 until Friday, April 17.

The northbound US 101 on/off ramps at the Solomon Summit Overcrossing will be closed 24/7 from Friday, April 17 until Friday, May 22.  Detour signs will assist the public during these ramp closures. 

This project will include roadway excavation, paving, drainage and guardrail work. The contractor for this $2 million project is CalPortland Construction of Santa Maria, CA.
