Roger, it's pretty clear, your quick posting alerted so many. You kept on top of it, and we all had somewhere to go for information, ANY information. You inspired others to post their eye-witness information. Thank you, Roger!

Painted Cave and San Marcos Fire Departments responded along with Forest Service units.....30 minutes in to the fire there were 15-20 foot flames appearing on the side of 154. 5 helicopters plus spotter planes responded and knocked the fire down quickly with approx. 2 acres burned. Great work as the winds were down-canyon with gusts up to 50 miles per hour.

Watching the 6 pm local TV news on KCOY (only channel showing news) and hardly a mention of this fire. I suppose it’s not that big of a deal?

From the bottom of OSM all looks quiet, and no smoke, but the observer/coordinator aircraft is still circling over the area.

I’m at the base of Hwy 154 at Foothill and I’m not seeing smoke. But we saw a phoscheck tanker fly over. I believe the old black and white police car with the Lompoc fire was dismissed after the owner was interviewed by law enforcement.

Roger, black and white car, isn't that the description of the car seen speeding away from the Lompoc Fire yesterday? Wasn't there a BOLO on that.

Well they sure brought a lot of airpower to bear pretty quickly but the crew on the ground appear to have a handle on it. Very little smoke from my vantage point anymore.

From the evidence you've provided here, it looks as if you can hardly figure out how to comment, let alone making one that is coherent and on-topic. Perhaps you would benefit from finding a hobby of some sort, other than using the net while in a drunken stupor.
