There’s always some d—head who thinks it’s cool to show off, ride/drive fast and loud. I heard several cars today w/ drivers revving engines, enhanced mufflers blatting loudly, guys peeling out from stops, acting like pee-pee boys. It’s always guys. Something to do with inadequacy. Fine w/ me if those overgrown babies splatter themselves all over the 101 or slam into a large wall somewhere around town. Just so long as they don’t cause anyone else harm.
How do you know he was reckless?
Just because a person doesn’t think loud motorcycles are cool, doesn’t mean they were jilted by one of those idiots. I saw a speed boat at the harbor, with a real loud idle, slowly putting out of the launch area. Cracked my up a short time later, when the obnoxious boat had stalled and they were paddling it back to shore.
A Darwin Award volunteer. When they weave in and out or split lanes at high speed, they put other motorists at risk who may change lanes to avoid them last minute and hit another vehicle–or become an obstacle for them to crash into if their speed or position makes it so the motorist doesn’t see them at all.
