Public Comment Period Open For SR-154 Pedestrian Bridge Project

Caltrans District 5 is accepting public comments on a proposal to remove the Alamo Pintado Creek Pedestrian Bridge adjacent to Foxen Canyon Road and Railway Avenue in Los Olivos. 

Caltrans has studied the effects this project may have on the environment which show that it will have no significant impacts.

The Initial Study with a Proposed Negative Declaration is available for review at the Caltrans District 5 website at:https://dot.ca.gov/Caltrans-near-me/district-5/ or may be viewed at the Caltrans District 5 Office at 50 Higuera Street, San Luis Obispo, CA. 93401 (Weekdays from 8 am until 5 pm).

This public is invited to participate in a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, September 22, from 5 pm to 7 pm.  For more information on how to join, go to: https://dot.ca.gov/caltrans-near-me/district-5/district-5-current-projects

An in-person public meeting will not be held due to COVID-19.

Written comments can be submitted beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8 through Friday, October 9 to Caltrans, 50 Higuera Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, Attn, Senior Environmental Planner Jason Wilkinson.
