Could it be just a peaceful remembrance of the Owner's passing? Also I do not think the ice cream shop with the cow on the roof is McConnels but I could be wrong.

Yes, the cow is on top of a former McConnell's shop (back in the 70's) and has been a different restaurant ever since. Still a right of passage to climb up there and paint the cow. Also, McConnell's processing plant is next door.

was there 415 ( count ) protestors infront of the ice cream store? or "415" ( police code for disturbing the peace ) protestors? there is no UNION for ice cream servers/workers, so im pretty sure its not a UNION protest

As hinted by one post, this ice cream store in the 700 block of State Street is a McConnell's. Again what is going on that we do not know why this is happening?

No, you don't understand. The right of the people to freely assemble and petition is protected. The right to do so cannot be protected or exercised in a meaningful way if the press/media suppress it from public discourse. If a tree falls and no one hears it does it matter?
