  1. Mission and De La Vina still has a lot of construction impediments such as cones and so on. Distractions for drivers. We drove past that intersection (on Pedregosa, parallel) and I could have sworn that De La Vina was blocked off by equipment and such at Mission, on the north end. But that was around 3 p.m. ***Everyone take note: As reported earlier here on Edhat: West Mission St will be closed off from Hwy 101 to State St. this coming Saturday through Wednesday. Start planning your alternate route(s) now.***

  2. So anyone who smokes weed for 50 years “has a problem”. And what would that be? Not everyone who drinks alcohol or smokes weed is some nut case with “a problem”. I have friends who drink a beer or have a drink, and have been their whole adult life. There is use and abuse, alcoholics and addicts are abusers. Responsible users don’t have problems, just like to “use” to relax sometimes. How about the ones who like a glass of wine with dinner, every night. So what? Not a “problem”. Apparently, unless you are a teetotaler and don’t use weed or alcohol you are the only one without a problem.

  3. Regarding your comment, “while when you’re stoned, you are much less inclined to do anything noticeably wrong.” That is unless you have a case of the Death Munchies and are consuming food while inside the grocery store late at night! 🙂

  4. Don’t let them get to you there are some people who cannot do anything without having issues so they have to try and drag others down into the poop hole with them to make them elves feel better. Don’t get offended feel sorry for them smoke a bowl in their honor. Dog bless their little hearts.

  5. Many years ago I married a wonderful man before I realized he was an alcoholic. We divorced and it has been painful to witness the decline in his life and mental state. When people drink to excess, their brains become steeped in alcohol and they don’t even know they’re becoming less and less stable physically and mentally. My present relationship was fine until it became apparent that my significant other could not function without being stoned. He smoked every single day and it did nothing but cause grief in our lives. It was altering his mind, and not in a good way. He has finally stopped smoking. It was difficult for him to give up his soothing “blanket.” Marijuana was sheltering him from reality, or so he thought. Now he is happier, much more fun to be around and has attained a type of normality. People who anesthethize themselves with substances often have no clue that they are making themselves and others around them more and more unhappy. I’ve had alcoholic friends and dope-smoking friends and now find I have no time or patience to deal with either type of substance abuser. Clarity of mind and cherishing one’s health is the way to go.

  6. So, people smoking marijuana are “masking their problems”. I don’t actually have any problems. A friend told me 50-some years ago, “With booze your lose, with dope there’s hope.” So tired of all the “anti-cannabis bullies.” Maybe they watched “Reefer Madness”.

  7. Recovery and addiction centers are overflowing with people who “do not have a problem.” Anyone who has been on the weed for 50 years…has a problem. Does not take a genius to figure that one out. 50 years on the weed… Sheesh!

  8. This had nothing to do with the dispensary. It was due to a drunk driver going through a construction zone that is a complete mess, at best, in daylight. I can’t even imagine driving through it at night. They didn’t add extra lighting or anything. Driving through there drunk is just like riding Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride!
