The shop is moving into the space previously occupied by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
In addition to the new Goleta shop, Drover’s Doughnuts operates two other locations in Santa Barbara County. These are in Buellton at 252 East Highway 246 and another in Solvang at 484 First Street, according to the business’s website.

The business has roots in the Santa Ynez Valley and is now expanding toward coastal communities, offering its popular items such as doughnuts, coffee, and breakfast menus.
The business is owned and operated by the Ollenburger family. Sarah and Loren Ollenburger relocated to the Santa Ynez Valley in 2017 with their children, initially viewing the area as a retreat before deciding to build a life and business there. Over time, Drover’s Doughnuts grew into a family-run operation focused on serving local communities throughout wine country.

Great news to have a donut shop on the mountain side of the 101 freeway. Right now all of the shops that sell donuts are on the ocean side: IV Donuts, Goleta Bakery, Cristino’s, SloDoCo, and Anna’s Bakery. In Noleta there’s Kin Bakeshop, which has some interesting mochi donuts (pro tip: Kin does not accept cash). The bacon maple bars and their “pillow” donuts at the 24/7 SloDoCo are….well, you be the judge.
