A popular Mexican restaurant is welcoming diners again on Milpas Street after a brief closure. Los Agaves Restaurant announced on social media that it has reopened its location at 600 N Milpas Street.
This comes after the business declared in mid-May that it had closed for a week to prepare for the summer season and carry out maintenance work. The restaurant said it would open on May 18 at 11 a.m.
The management encouraged diners to visit Los Agaves’ other locations at De La Vina Street and Goleta.
However, the Milpas Street restaurant remained closed for more than a month.
In June, the Restaurant Guy shared an update about Los Agaves, announcing that the restaurant was adding a new roof. The post did not mention a new reopening date.

Sharing news of the reopening, Los Agaves thanked customers for their “continuous support” and for visiting the De La Vina location while the Milpas site remained closed.
“We’ve missed you! We cannot wait to welcome you back,” Los Agaves wrote on Instagram.
The post included a video that shared a glimpse of the interiors of the restaurant.
