  1. Has anyone noticed that every employee of the City of Santa Barbara is driving a new vehicle? Car, truck, tractor , mower, or whatever. Lots of money being spent every two or three years for replacements. Can anyone offer up a number that it costs the serfs to provide these vehicles?

  2. Its due to California smog regulations. Diesel powered trucks and equipment have to be replaced with soot traps or filters and def tanks. That means all the other states get our used pollution vehicles. California contractors and cities have to replace everything

  3. Oh, and I am sure its heading for Mexico and will never be seen again.
Live around here long enough and you have to realize most stolen vehicles head south….
Guess they needed a nice utility truck.
Hope I am wrong, but…something that conspicuous does not “disappear into thin air”
