There is law enforcement activity in Santa Barbara/Goleta on Turnpike Road on Wednesday, January 21.
Around 3:40 p.m., there were about two Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s vehicles on the Turnpike Road overpass, near the Highway 101 northbound offramp.
Three deputies were out of the vehicle and appeared to be handcuffing someone who was on the ground. I didn’t get a good look but appeared to be a teenager or young adult.
When I drove by they were loading the suspect into their vehicle.
