Dr0ve through there yesterday afternoon (Thurs.), heading south and there were all kinds of orange cones (with some already having been run over) and the guy driving ahead of me had absolutely **no clue** as to the width of his sedan. We were going at a snail’s pace (10mph), as he hypercautiously negotiated the narrowed lane. All one could do was laugh at his silliness. Then, coming back north, same kind of stupid set-up, with pedestrians walking 1/2 in the lane and it was sort of a “what the HELL is going on here?,” with outoftowners thoroughly flustered and locals frustrated. I hope City work crews (or whomever is responsible for that TERRIBLE coning set up) have already finished the job. What a MESS. Narrowing that section of lower State to one lane each way always was and will forever be a bad, bad plan.
