Pavement Marking Project SR-135

Source: Caltrans

A project to refresh thermoplastic pavement markings along State Route 135 (Broadway) in Santa Maria will begin on Monday, Nov. 13 through Saturday, Nov.18.

Motorists will encounter intermittent moving lane closures in both directions/various locations along State Route 135 from 8 am until 4 pm.

Thermoplastic pavement markings are applied at a high temperature and are oil resistant and include a superior bonding strength maintaining reflectivity and safety.

The project is being performed by the Caltrans striping team of San Luis Obispo.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.

For more information on this project and for traffic updates on other Caltrans projects in Santa Barbara County, residents may call the District 5 toll free number at 805-549-3318 or visit our website at: http://www.dot.ca.gov/dist05/paffairs/release.htm#
