Pauline Almaguer

Pauline Almaguer (Moreno) died peacefully at her home in Ventura, California on June 15, 2018. She was 83. 

Pauline was born November 19, 1934 in Santa Barbara to her parents, Abraham and Guadalupe Moreno. She spent most of her life living in Carpinteria where she worked as a housekeeper and caretaker. 

Pauline was a die hard Elvis fan and loved only her family more. She enjoyed being surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren along with watching WWE Wrestling, her stories (soap operas), and the Food Channel. 

Pauling is survived by her children Chris Almaguer of Lompoc, Patsy Almaguer of Carpinteria, Bernice Palafox and Lisa Ramirez, both of Ventura, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death of her son, Michael Palafox of Carpinteria. 

A public viewing will be held Tuesday July 3, from Noon to 4 p.m. at Welch-Ryce-Haider on Sola Street in Santa Barbara. A celebration of life BBQ will be held Saturday July 7, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Toro Canyon Park Area 1 in Carpinteria. A private burial will be held at a later date.
