Does anyone know if a local restaurant or bakery is making food for Passover to pickup? Looking for challah, matzo, latkes, etc.

Try Rincon in Carpinteria, 805-566-9933. I'm not sure what their Passover deadline is.

2nd Gelson's - they have everything you could possibly want for Passover. However, if you're a bit tight on money (Gelson's can "break the bank"), go to Ralph's which totally has a Kosher section, but not sure if their deli is doing the pick-up thing specifically for Passover. You might also have luck at the International Foods Store/Deli @ Hollister/Modoc (it could be State St. at the point....but very close to that intersection on the right side of the road if you are heading toward Goleta). The International store also has halal meat/poultry. It's a very small store, but they have a LOT of "stuff" on their shelves and aisles.

Gelson's best bet, but pretty pricey.

Give Jack's Bistro-Famous Bagels and Catering in Carpinteria a try at 805 566-1558. They have a great catering menu and would probably create something you are craving! Have a delish Passover!

Give Gelson's a call. They have a section of Passover items as another said. They also were offering various passover meals you can order.

Dang me! Just checked . . .Gelson's has Traditional Beef Brisket Passover Dinner which includes Matzo Balls with Chicken Broth, Tzimmes, Charoses, Potato Kugel, Chopped Beef Liver with Egg and Gefilte Fish with Horseradish (served 4). Go for it!
