Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to an unusual call Wednesday when an owl found itself trapped inside a chimney at a Los Olivos residence.
Crews were able to safely rescue the feathered visitor and release it back into the wild, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
“Look ‘whooooooo’ needed a little assistance!” the department wrote in a social media post announcing the successful rescue.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 10. No further details were provided about how the owl became stuck or the specific location of the rescue.
