Emergency responders are on the scene of an overturned semi-truck on Highway 101 southbound in Santa Maria on Wednesday.
Around 6:15 a.m., the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported the semi-truck rolled and landed on its side in the number three “slow lane” near the Main Street offramp.
A long-term closure of the number three lane has been enacted and it’s unclear when it will reopen.
CHP states there were no other vehicles involved in the collision. It’s unclear if there are any injuries.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
