An overturned semi-truck closed northbound Highway 101 lanes between Ventura and Santa Barbara on Saturday, December 27.
The traffic collision took place just south of Padre Juan Canyon Road near Faria Beach around 3:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
CHP diverted traffic off at State Beaches Road. While the initial estimated time to reopen was about two hours, the closure lasted into the morning commute.
At 10:34 a.m., CHP announced that all northbound lanes had reopened.
It’s unclear if there were any injuries. No additional details were immediately available.
