Travelers on State Route 135 in Santa Maria, between E. Battles Road and Inger Drive, will encounter overnight traffic control beginning Monday, March 23 as part of utility relocation work.
This nighttime work is expected to continue through the end of April. Overnight roadwork will take place between 7 pm to 6 am.
Travelers will encounter overnight lane reduction and sidewalk closures with traffic control and pedestrian detours. Travelers are reminded that four-way flashing red lights at intersections should be treated as stop signs.
Overnight work will involve grinding and paving, which will result in noise and vibrations. Travelers are encouraged to proceed safely in this work zone.
