Titmouse Hatchlings Update

The four Oak Titmouse hatchlings should be ready to fledge in perhaps a week or so.

They can be heard “cheeping” noisily when the parents leave to bring in food.  Then, when we begin to open the box, they clam up as a defense against predators.

Here the beaks of two can be seen while the other two have tried to hunker down for safety.
