On 03/03/2019 at 7:47PM, Santa Barbara PD officers responded to a call of an armed robbery that had just occurred. The robbery involved 2 suspects who pointed a firearm at the victim. SBPD dispatchers provided a detailed description of the suspects to the responding officers. Within minutes, officers detained the suspects in the area. One of the suspects attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly apprehended. This subject was found to be in possession of a loaded .380 semi-automatic handgun. A thorough investigation was completed which resulted in the arrest of 3 suspects for a variety of charges including 211PC, Armed Robbery. Great teamwork by SBPD officers and dispatchers!

Code 211: Armed Robbery, suspects described as two Black Male Adults (BMAs) with guns, one wore a red hoodie the other a black hoodie, heading West Bound on foot from Carrillo and Chapala.
