Temporary Pedestrian Bridge Removed on Cabrillo Blvd.

Source: Cabrillo Boulevard Bridge Project

Project Update:  June 2017

The temporary pedestrian bridge has been removed. Throughout the month, crews will begin restoring the downstream creek banks and finishing the pathways that connect to the wider beachway on the new Cabrillo Boulevard Bridge. During this time, please share the ocean side sidewalk and use caution by reducing bicycle speeds or dismount and walk across the bridge as needed.  Please expect intermittent, temporary lane and parking closures for construction and equipment access. Water line, landscaping, and irrigation work will be ongoing.

Fall 2014 – Summer 2017:

The Cabrillo Boulevard Bridge Replacement Project includes a new bridge, enhanced Mission Creek banks, and improved pedestrian areas.  Cabrillo Boulevard, surrounding businesses, parks, Stearns Wharf, and the Arts and Crafts Show will remain open throughout construction.
