Cabrillo Blvd. from the roundabout @ Coast Village past the Bird Refuge is open westbound all along the beach, but the opposite direction is blocked at Milpas Street by Santa Barbara Police officers.
There seems to be no good reason for either of these roadblocks because Channel Drive, is blocked to the east at Cabrillo Blvd., Coast Village Road is blocked to the east after Hot Springs and Hot Springs is blocked and dead ends after Alston Road.
This seems like an expensive waste of police resources during this emergency period.
