SoCal Edison Tree Trimming on Ellwood Mesa

SCE has notified the City that it intends to prune eucalyptus trees overhanging power lines within its right of way on Ellwood Mesa parallel to and immediately west of Pebble Beach and Santa Barbara Shores Drives. The work will include directional tree pruning on the eucalyptus trees to prevent them from making contact with high voltage conductors.   This maintenance work is scheduled to take place from July 30 through August 3 and is intended to address areas with potential fire hazards.   An environmental monitor will be on site for the duration of the work.  Please see the public notice below.
