On Sunday, June 24 at approximately 1PM, several Officers were working the Summer Solstice Event in Alameda Park when several vendors reported that merchandise was stolen overnight.
While the Officers were investigating, one of the victims saw two suspects near the concert venue wearing items of stolen clothing.
Isaac Brown, aged 28, and Kory Brown, aged 41, both non-residents, were arrested on scene at the Beer Garden. Several stolen items were recovered from the suspects.
After conducting a records check, both were arrested for misdemeanor possession of stolen property while Kory received an additional charge of violating the terms of his parole which stemmed from his prior conviction for assault with a deadly weapon in Los Angeles County.
Are the police sure they got the right guys? There pretty average looking. Many people would match their description.
The world of assumptions rides again.
It says CLEARLY that they were sited for possession of stolen property. The headline is FALSE. They were not arrested for stealing. Did they? Probably. But it’s just as likely that some other donk stole it and started selling/handing it out to the likes of these two.
obviously two fine and upstanding americans.
Will I sure hope you comment on other online sites they have the same headlines….Oh you can’t can you? They don’t allow comments.
Golly gee Beaver! Do you think these guys could have been in prison before?
I like the Easter Egg comment but I don’t think I’d say that to the guys face I’m in enough pain as it is.
Really important to tell us that these were “non-residents.” Makes the locals more comfortable that the threat is the stranger, the outsider, the other. The National Inquirer style of the SBPD is being perfected.
The charge of possession is a holding charge. Evidence is needed that they did the stealing. It can be added later as the case develops.
Oh give it a rest.
I think “non-residents” is simply showing out of town criminals do a lot of crimes here. It often comes up the arrested criminals here are from L.A.
