Lompoc Man Arrested in Stabbing

On Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at approximately 2:19 P.M., officers of the Lompoc Police Department responded to the area of the 800 block of N. G Street for a report of a stabbing victim at this location.

Officers arrived and found an adult male with a single stab wound to his torso lying in the courtyard of 800 N. G St.  Officers provided first aid for the victim until fire and medics arrived and assumed responsibility for his care.  The victim was eventually transported to the Lompoc Airport and transported to an area hospital via air ambulance for further treatment.

During the course of this investigation, the suspect has been identified as Alex Denys Medina of Lompoc.  Mr. Medina is a 32-year old Hispanic male described as being 5′-05″, 160 lbs. with black hair, brown eyes and facial hair.

The Lompoc Police Department is requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation or the whereabouts of Mr. Medina notify the department as soon as possible.  Anonymous tips may be made through Lompoc PD App or by calling 805-736-2341.
