Absolutely spectacular shot! It shows the “Avalanche Gulch” climbing route. I see all four places where I had to turn around until I finally summited with my brothers in 2014. As per snow, Shasta usually gets it winter coat starting in November. The snow pack should start building up next week with the first true storms of the season hitting late next week….
