Eleven Additional County Jail Inmates COVID-19 Positive

Eleven additional inmates at the Main Jail have tested positive for COVID-19. These new cases were detected through follow-up from the four cases from general population that were reported in the press release from Monday, August 3, 2020. 

One inmate from that group has refused testing and one inmate tested negative.

Ten of the COVID-19 positive inmates are asymptomatic and being housed in double or triple cells together while one inmate is symptomatic and being medically isolated in a negative air flow cell. T

his brings the total number of COVID-19 positive inmates who have been housed at the Main Jail to 25.

    Hello– The Jury is still out. Dirty Masks may actually increase contagion as outer contamination is spread with voice and warm spit–have you been on top of this topic. Medical people know how to wear them. The public? It ain’t clear and we do know that. In Asian only the sick signal one to keep a distance with a mask.
    Touching them frequently and when contaminated only sparks new infection.
