Duckling Rescue and Reunion on Mother’s Day

Santa Barbara County firefighters rescued a duckling and reunited it with its mother on Mother’s Day.

Medic Engine 26’s crew responded to a wayward duckling that became separated from the rest of the family and was stuck in a storm drain in Orcutt Sunday morning.

Firefighters were able to free the duckling and reunite it with mom and the group in time for a morning pool swim.
