Anyone with any sense of dignity and logic should be upset when someone turns a completely non-racist, neutral comment into “racism.” I’m sorry, but those people who are bent on finding racism, sexism, etc in every nook and corner are the divisive ones. I loved Obama, nothing against him at all. He was not divisive in any way, but those folks who insist that every thing a white person utters is “racist,” are the reason so many people voted for Trump. People are getting sick and tired of being called “racists” and “sexists” or worse just because some fragile person with no self esteem and a chip on their shoulder decides that an innocuous statement or even gesture is “offensive” or some kind of “micro-aggression.” Micro-aggressions are just that….”micro” as in, not that big a deal, grow up and get over it.
