The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in trying to identify the man in the attached photos. He is a suspect in the theft of credit cards from an employee at Alpha Thrift and then subsequently used those stolen cards at Home Depot.

Are thieves coming out of the woodwork b/c they can’t get work? Or are they feeling entitled because the work they could get wouldn’t pay what they think they deserve like Jim Croce’s “Working in the Car Wash Blues”. (Offshored jobs & automation or moral decay?)
