Catalytic Converter Theft

My parents live south of Hollister off Patterson Ave (near Magnolia Shopping Center). [Monday] morning around 3am they heard a loud sawing noise, looked outside and witnessed a white truck parked next to their Honda Accord on the street. My Mom yelled “Hey!” and a man shouted back that his truck had broken down. Immediately she saw their car drop down (they had jacked it up), and the truck pulled away. Upon inspecting their car, the catalytic converter had been cut out and stolen. They filed a police report – but neighbors beware!!
